There are services available online that offer get US documents apostilled for you - but they will need to either get the document themselves from the appropriate agency in the US or you will have to send it to them. There are charges for the document (if they procure it), the apostille and their services to put it all together for you.

Ignore the "Technical Difficulties" link thing. Evidently caused by the current manpower shortage in the US Government. The link will take you to the appropriate Consulate page.

 

It's generally not hard to do this yourself. It isn't done in - your BC has to go back to the state that issued it for apostille.

 

Depending on the state, apostilles may be handled by the Secretary of State (of the state - not Rubio <g>) or through another office, like the Attorney General. (Yeah, I find that one a bit "odd" too.) Check the state website for the state in which the document was issued for all the relevant information.

 

No, not Rubio in this case for a state document like a BC. However, for a US Federal Document, it would be Rubio (IIRC I had to get a US Census apostilled for the Italians or something)Office of Authentications.

That Rubio, he's a busy man these days...
